I'm having a lot of problems getting mine to work, I've been in contact with the author too and so far haven't had much luck. If yours is working Erwin, what operating system are you running? I'm Vista64. The main problem I'm having is that after calibrating, I can't get more than about 66% throw on channels 1-4, and whenever I try to change any of the settings I get an error message that says: "Unhandled exception has occured in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. if you click Quit, the application will close immediately." I've tried using some other software, and while I can't get the T6Config to work (it says the comport is invalid), I am having some success with a program called Turborix, that Duck put us onto here: supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=rg&action=display&thread=2509Using turborix, I have been able to change the endpoints/ranges to 120 percent in an attempt to get more than about 66% throws on channels 1-4. With the throws set to 120 percent, I can get up to about 80% by moving the control sticks, and can get almost up to 100% by using the slider trims too. I've tried flipping the dual rate switch, but it was already set to max movement, and by recalibrating with with the switch in the other position I had even less throw on the channels. Is this normal? It doesn't sound right to me that I should have to give full up stick AND full up on the trim slider just to get 100% throttle. Could it be that they're not supposed to go all the way to 100% to allow for some extra range for the sub trim? I'm a total noob at this sort of stuff so any input will be appreciated. -thanks

I'm on Vista 32-bit with SP2.
I haven't had to program anything on the T6a since that software cam out so all I've done is mess with it a bit to see what it's about. I'll give it a try later since when I have the radio plugged in it disconnects me from the internet.
Have you installed the driver for the radio? In any case try using the original T6config software. It's ugly and a pain sometimes but it has worked for me so far.

I'm a total noob at this sort of stuff so any input will be appreciated. -thanks Hi, I'm the author of the Digital Radio application I've just checked my tx and settings...well I'm not obtaining the full 100% values too on all channels, but I think it depends on the subtrims, swash afr values and so on. I obtain the full 100% negative value only if I enable a switch for the Throttle Cut and I turn it on, in this case for a heli mode 2 stick I get -100% on channel 3. However for my little experience I think it is not important the full range values of the channels, but the link between these values and the servos movement. For example for the channel 1 "front left servo" my minimum value is -33%, but this value with the subtrim value let me move the servo in the right position. A more important question is the software issues you have on your pc, it is very strange, I'm using my software on Windows XP 32 bit and Seven 64 bit with no absolutely issues. Could you run the software on a different pc ? You could install the cable driver on my web site. I need to understand if your problem is depending on your pc or maybe you are doing some action that I don't imagine, or you manage to put the software in a particular state that I don't know. This software have had more than 2 months of public beta testing and now there are more than 60 people that are using it, so I'd like to make it run also for you If you can not install it on a different pc we will try to do a remote desktop session ! First of all, regarding the range of motions of the channels, it does make sense that they don't go all the way to 100%. If they did, then if you set the sub trim (for example) to +20%, then you could only get another +80% by moving the stick all the way up, and you'd have more travel in one direction than the other. ERWIN, can you confirm for us how much range of motion you see in the on screen sliders when you move your sticks to their extremes? Also, if you go to change one of the values (eg endpoint or subtrim) does it let you do it, or do you get the error message too? I've tried installing the software on my parent's desktop computer running Windows 7 64bit, and still can not get it to work correctly. I tried installing the USB driver from your website (filename PL_2303_Prolific_Driver), but it didn't work - it appeared in the device manager with an exclaimation mark next to it (to signify it's not working correctly) and it didn't recognise the USB device when I plugged the cable in. I clicked update driver in the device manager, and it directed me to the silicon labs driver, the same one I had installed on my other computer. After installing that, it seemed to work OK - I could start digital radio, connect to the com port, and when I moved the sticks on the radio the bars on the screen moved, and I could retreive the setting from the radio. I had the same problem as before though, as soon as I tried to change any of the values (end trim for example), i'd push tab then the error message came up. I thought maybe it could be the silicon labs driver I had installed for the cable on my other computer that was causing the problems, so I spend AGES trying to get the one you recommend on your website to work, to no avail. I did lots of uninstalling from control panal and rebooting before trying another driver, so I think I covered all the bases there. The only driver I could get to work was the one from silicon labs (filename CP210x_VCP_Win_XP_S2K3_Vista_7) I also tried googling for the driver you recommend on your website, and downloaded the latest driver from the prolific website (filename PL2303_Prolific_DriverInstaller_v1210) - it must have been a different file because it's size was slightly different to the one from your website. I had the same outcome using that driver that I did using the one from your website - it didn't work, I clicked update driver, and it downloaded the silicon labs driver again which did work. After installing the silicon labs driver, I even tried installing the driver from your website on top of that (which I'm suprised it let me do), but it still causes the error message when I try to change any of the settings. After installing that driver, under device manager it showed the silicon labs driver under ports for the USB to UART Bridge, not the one from your website. I'm at my wit's end, I've tried everything I can think of, and I HATE using Windows 7 At least it reboots a lot faster than vista though. What should I try next?

What should I try next? Hi, Just 4 questions: 1) Are you using the Hobby King cable ? I'm have tested (and I'm using) the driver on my web site on Windows XP and Seven with the Hobby King cable 2) Are you using the Hobby King radio ? or a FlySky, Exceed etc ? 3) What is your configuration ? Acro, Heli 90, Heli 120 or Heli 140 ? 4) You have the error also when you modify pitch and throttle values ? I've reproduced an error (that I will fix in the next release) if I put only the minus "-" character and then I leave the control ("Cast error"), but not the error you are getting. If you agree I suggest to try a remote session, we could meet on Skype and then try together to understand the origin of this issue. I will write you for the info for the meeting ! Bye HappyMan

Hi, thanks for the quick reply - best customer service $2 can buy! ;D
I'm using the hobbyking cable that came with my radio. I'm using the hobbyking T6A radio. My configuration is set to Acro With it set to acro, the settings for throttle and pitch are dimmed out and can't be selected. If I try to change the mode from Acro to anything else, I get the same "Unhandled exception" error that I get when I try to change anything else.
I can play around with all the values without getting an error message if I'm not connected to the radio, but once I'm connected I can't change anything without getting the error message.
What software will I need to install to allow the remote desktop session? Can it be done through skype, or will I need to install something else too?

Hi, I suggest the portable version of Mikogo, from here: www.mikogo.com/download/windows-download/You have to register to receive your password, it is free and it works very well for network without proxy or other filters. I'm using it for my job (I'm a professional developer, I wrote Digital Radio in my spare time). By the way, I've sent an email with the indication for finding me in Skype, I'm available for the remote session at 25 June 2010 at 12.00 GMT (that is at 22.00 South Australia time if I'm right), you will tell me if for you is ok ! bye HappyMan

I just got off of a Skype / remote desktop session with Stephano, the program's author. He has been extremely helpful, and my problem is now fixed.
The problem was that update mode, a box on the RHS, was blank. I had to change it to auto, and now all is well.
THANKS VERY MUCH STEPHANO!!
