bought a can of spam for one buck..cut it open...cut it to shape with whatever i could find "box cutter" and used some sand paper to smooth it out so its not cutting your fingers..then i taped those to my plastic stock landing flaps and fit them perfect...and its alittle stronger..i think i'm gonna use a tie wrap to hook it the the landing gear

Adapt, improvise, and well.. lunch.
Ingenuity at its' best! I still have a bumpy landing or two(or five) so I have left my wire ties a little loose to the stock skirts. I would certainly recommend this with static l/gear or hard skirts on the Cub. Had to remod mine completely after I eventually ripped it out from continued stress. My crappy landings. BTW, I like mine fried with cheddar cheese. ;D
