So I was at the LHS and was going through the planes parts and came across a complete airframe minus the cowl and landing gear. So I'm going to take all the stock electronics that I had left over from converting my other to BL and put them in here. An give it a "real" paint job this time with no Sharpies! The sharpie looks ok but it rubbs off on your hands! So looks like I'm gonna have two SC. One fast and one slow.  |

+1 vote for floats! I was thinking that also. The LHS had set of floats.....but there isn't much for lakes or ponds or any body of water for that matter. Just bald prarie as you can see from my arial vids. Except for the river down the road, but I don't think I'll be attempting landing in that anytime soon. I more than likely will pick up a set eventualy. Mostly because they look cool. |

I know I said I was going to "paint" this Cub, but I thought covering would end up looking better. So I ordered some Hanger 9 UltraCote Parklite Black, Apple Green and Carbon Fibre Ultratrim. I'm going for a Monster Energy theme similar to my Losi Comp Crawler.  |

now...the real question is, is there any real carbon fiber in the wing? Nope, no real carbon fibre at all. This bird is gonna be my arial video platform.... No mods except the Velcro stuts for easy wing removal and just in case of a crash. No crazy high speed maneuvers what so ever will be performed. So I didn't really see a need for it. But the other SC needs some more work (ie. real carbon and other mods) then it too will be getting an UltraCote! |
