Nice comparison. Thanks.
Man, that Mustang is so tempting. Especially since the SC batteries are compatible and the BNF is only 179.99. I know I should get the T-28 for my 2nd plane but I can't get that Mustang out of my head or my shopping cart at AMain. lol
Pretty sure I am going to buy it this week sometime and just keep it on display while I get some qulaity sim time in. Right now my Amainhobbies cart has the gunfighter and an eflite blade mcx s300 in it. I don't think there is any way I can not buy it. ;D
edit:\\ Ok so I think I decided to just order the white PNP T-28. I just got my DX6i today and it has a receiver. Then i just need some 1800mah zippy batts from HK. Will the SC charger charge the bigger batteries? I realize it may be slower than a 1.8a charger might be but would it work? Thanks!

Hey no prob! Yes it will still charge your new battery, but like you said your Mah is higher...so your charge times will be too. Be careful with that new T-28 it is not Z-foam.

I can't stand the looks of the landing gear. I hear that they fly great and a lot of people love em...I just can't. Don't forget to strap that cam on your head and get some video. Now that I have the DX6i I'm casually searching the BNF's also. I'm looking into getting the GO PRO HD soon so another plane is out of the question. Nuthin wrong with window shopping though.

Major, I'm at the same crossroads. I love the looks of the Gunny. I THINK i am ready for the this one. Though I keep reading threads that the T-28 is more logical next step from the Cub. The PZ F4U Corsair (RTF) has also been whispering my name also. Still can't decide which way to go. Yea, post video of the T-bird when you can.

Well, I found a deal i couldn't refuse and bought a lightly used mustang bnf for $125. It doesnt even have a scratch on the belly from the landings. However, I have a friend that really wants one of these things and I am thinking about selling it to him and buying a bnib rtf white t-28 I found for $165. I have the Phoenix Flight Sim and i can fly the render of a PZ T-28 like it was attached to my hand. There is no PZ Mustang in that sim yet so i don't know how I would fair there. I also found and bought a bnf sukhoi for $40 in perfect shape. Oh and did i mention I got a nib bnf mcx s300 heli too? LOL I've gone bnf mad!!! Parkzone really knew what they were doing with spektrum/jr and bnf. They must've seen me coming. I saw the trap clearly and still ran in head first. flybynight: The white T-28 is not z-foam? That may change my mind entirely. n4768z: You're right the T-28 is pretty ugly. I really like the F6F Hellcat though and it has a similar profile. Not sure what it is that makes the T-28 so d**n ugly. parrothead: I love the corsair too. I keep reading that it catches wind a little more that the T-28 though. It has a model in the Phoenix Sim too and I fly the T-28 quite a bit better. I realize that's not real-world performance but it puts just a little doubt in my feeble mind anyway. n4768z: I kind of like the bf109 as well. However, I shave my head with no guard and i just can't show up to the park with no hair and a nazi warbird! LOL. Gonna stick with the allies for now. Oh, I almost forgot to mention in all of my purchasing here lately I also got all the parts to fix up my SC! It's ready to fly right now, (although not with my dx6i ) I'm going to keep flying it and maybe the sukhoi for a while before i start with the Mustang or T-28; whichever I finally end up with.

Ok. Decided to stick with the Gunfighter. It should be here in a day or two. I think I will wait about a week before I give it a go. See how it goes with the Sukhoi first. That thing is light enough that i shouldn't destroy it if I am careful. -famous last words-
