I'm sort of rebuilding my cub so I went to my LHS to get a few things and noticed that they had the floats in stock. (They didn't before). I was up till 1:00 am painting them. I'm excited yet terrified to try it out. I don't want to end up like this guy. I'll probably take my kayak along just in case. I'll post some pics of my rebuild when complete. I double coated the plane with paint, and replaced all of the broken parts from my last series of misadventures and added some touches to the paint scheme. Give or take Easter and stuff I should finish it up today. Oh and I think that I've fixed that "not being able to turn left thing". At least now my rudder turns completely left and completely right. I'll have to keep that in mind the first time that I take off.

Was it just my computer, or was that video choppy? It was very annoying to watch.

Well, I just took her out for a lil swim. It's a tad breezy and the place that I took her had too many trees to get airborne. I wanted to do something so I just taxied around in the water. My first attempt sent her out into the blue with no rudder or elevator. I forgot to hook them up. Luckily the wind blew her back to shore to an accessible location. Once I connected everything I tried a second time. It took me a bit to remember that there is no rudder in the water to steer around with. I gave it a little throttle to get some air going past the rudder. All in all I figured it out. Not too bad. She looked good on the water. Would have been cool if they added a rudder that was in the water. The control kinda sux.
