cool. I'm thinking about using my spare wing to make a wing with scale flaps and ailerons, and maybe some silver ultracoat along with a corbon fiber spar.
(hey if anyone cares I removed my 138g steel spar from my wing!!! and replaced it with some CF my friend gave me!!!)
Have you flown with flaps yet? are they two position or three position? Single or Dual servo?

The flaps work great - used them today for float flying Nice steep approaches over trees and I drop them when on step to pop off the water quickly. Using 1 servo in the wing root for the flaps Using a T-28 Trojan Nose Gear Steering Arm rcb.shopnz.biz/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=239734Using infinate flap positions - mapped to left shoulder lever on DSX9

Ooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooh...You have a DX9! I want one someday...just abit (meaning allot) to pricy for me at the moment. And about that. What do you meen about infinite flap positions? does that mean it's a dial? a knob?
I don't exactly understand how you used a steering arm for flaps... Would you mind posting a picture?

Will take some photos of flap setup when I unbolt the wing next Used T-28 steering arm on torque tube fitted between both flaps
And the DSX9 is cool - still the DX7 is a good alround radio - I also have a DSX12 which I'm selling (not using all the features) - the DSX9 is all I need
