I sanded my supercub and then painted with latex Krylon. I have all sorts of small feelers on the surface. How can I get a smooth surface now? Dave

Use sandpaper with larger grit? I've never sanded the foam. Just the plastic surfaces:

I agree with killioughtta. A 400 or better grit paper should do the trick. You might still have some small "feelers" because z-foam wasn't meant to be sanded. Good luck!

Yeah, i've cut foam before to make a rock wall out of my super cub foam packaging, and fine sandpaper will make is as smooth as ever! I'd recommend using a cork sanding block. Otherwise, if you want to smooth off just the latex coating you might be able to use thinners on a rag?
Can you show us some pics of your latex paintjob? Also include a pic of the latex container so we can see exactly what you used.
What are you hoping to achieve with the latex, a padded coating for increased crash resistance? Would also be very interesting to know how much weight the paintjob has added.
Good luck with the project, I've been considering doing something similar myself...

400 grit worked well. I will post a pic when I'm done. Thanks everyone Dave
