Looks great! Have you tried it out yet? I've got a very similiar set-up. Mines got a few more leds though, I've got a 10mm white led in the nose, placed in the vent under the prop.
I added 2 leds on the bottom of the wing facing inward toward the fuselage, they really light up the plane when it's in the air.
I flew my first set-up (like yours) at dusk 1 night. It was strange and I took it easy just flying around nothing crazy. Landing was not easy.
Then I added the lights on the wing tips inward and went out. This time it was at night, no sun at all. The leds showing the fuselage made it easier than my previous flight at dusk. Worked great!!
I only felt out of oreintation a couple of times.. I need to figure out a way to shine light on the fuse but not be able to see the led itself, or at least not in the current position. The good thing is the dis-orientation only lasts a second or two....
