It's great to start seeing those annoying "photobucket" message images disappear. Good job guys and thanks for "mentioning me in dispatches" Feel free to use any of the images of my SC I have posted.

Dillzio. It looks like I can only post up one pic and not a pic for each board  Are you SURE about that Paul? There are logos of images that appear next to each forum section and, as shown in the image I uploaded with the arrows, for some of them it even shows the photobucket "this image or video has been moved or deleted" message. |

Hi Dill.
The small blue dot logo indicates new posts. Now, I can change that image by putting a new url but it will be for every board and not individually.

I will get rid of the Photobucket message as they are annoying.
I think it needs a simple picture of a SC. What we could do is change the image every month for a different members cub.?

OK. I have put up one of my old sc pics for testing . When you click on the board next to the pic and then return to home page the cub picture has been replaced by a grey dot. This means there are no new posts on that board since you last looked.
So I could have two members cubs up there. ;D

I like the idea of using a different picture every month, showcasing our different member's cubs. It might actually inspire me to paint mine or put on some decals other than electrical tape :-) |

How about this?  I've also attached a word file with all the graphic elements in it for easy editing. Yes I made it in microsoft word and paintbrush. I'm an enthusiast, not a professional. Attachments:

I put a new logo up! I took ginginho's advice and used both, old AND new versions along with the red and blue colors. All-stock birds, too.

Would it be possible to have a thread that lists who's is on show for a month a bit like a calender, with a copy of the piccy too in the thread? It doesn't have to list future appearences (that involves planning  ), but would be nice to refer back in time to the various "pride and joys" that have had the honour to grace this. (poster exits stage left, rushing off to edit piccies of own SC in flight) |

Erwin. The Logo looks fantastic. Big thanks for that. Dillzio. Great job on the logo mate, but Erwin has the job.  @ Nick. The pic up at the moment is my beautiful cub when she was new. I think I will get another as she is looking a bit tired now. Its also been a long time since flying the SC and I miss it. All members. I will put up a new thread or board titled ''Super Cub pic of the month'' It would be handy if you could resize your pic too 144 X 108 in your image hosting site. If not I will be able to do it. Nick. I will be able to put the pics up in the first post of the new thread with details of which month and what member they belong to. Comments welcome. |
