The nut securing my prop flew off yesterday while flying. I'm off to the hardware store to get some nuts I have one for comparison, but what size are the standard nuts?

In case anyone was wondering, I found the same size nuts and they are 4mm, not sure what that is in Imperial measurements?
Also got some "Nylock" nuts, my friend recommended them to me to prevent them from vibrating off the prop shaft.

Imperial won't match, it's a 4mm metric thread. Yes, nyloc nuts are good too. It's a good idea to have a spare prop shaft and gearbox laying around so that will give you a few spare nuts right there.
