What do you do when it rains?

[img src="[/img]"]So...it's been either raining,windy, wet and windy, or cold wet and overcast going on a week now (typical Seattle WX) I decided to make good use of my time and paint my cub. I have to admit that the inspiration came from a few cubs on You Tube but...It's still my own. Decals for the windows are in the mail. I completed all of the reinforcement mods except for pack taping the soft spots, and I'm currently finishing up the wing strut mod that I liked on another thread. I'm also going to print up my own logo/decal to add to her. I posted that somewhere too. Thought I'd share.

Yeah...I was wondering if maybe I've painted myself into a corner. It's going to get messed up somewhere at sometime. Sigh.

One of our old members did some nice work with a shrink coat. Brand new to the sport and with that eager enthusiasm that comes at the beginning he did up a nice new Cub beautifully. Then took it out and crashed the sh!t out of it.

This unfortunately is pretty common.

Well...I'll say this. I enjoyed every minute painting this cub. I enjoy flying much more but am now interested in building my own. I have no experience with Ailerons. I don't even know what they do. Any suggestions for a new/next plane kit?

Hi Aces High....great paint job on your plane!! Very impressive, I seen a lot of painted Super Cubs in the year that I've been involved in the hobby and this is one of the best!! Can't wait to show everyone the monster I created..ha, ha.
