Hello from Marysville, WA! I'm from Richmond, VA but stationed out here on the left coast with the Coast Guard.
I bought this plane so that my son and I could spend some Q time together and get to know the basics of RC flight. We have a few trucks and cars but have never left the ground for more than a few seconds. We have had a great time flying the cub. I made a video of us flying it on Christmas day. I invite you to check out the video on the video thread. "Aces High"

Hey, welcome aboard. I'm down in Seattle and fly at Magnuson Park, the old Sand Point Naval Station. Do you ever get down to that office?

Thank you
I've never been to Sand Point, I'll have to look that up. It's funny now that I have the cub I'm always scouting out large fields and places to fly. I use Marysville Pilchuck HS atm. There are a few other places nearby.

It's about 3 miles NE of the U of W. Like yourself our group has looked around for alternatives but this is the best one around here. Schools have a tendency to not want you there during class hours. Right now I'm trying to learn sloping so looking around for suitable slopes without driving for hours somewhere.
