so this is why I haven't posted in a while, once I learned (self taught) to fly the SC the hanger filled up in about 2 weeks... I make it a point to always keep one on the tarmac (car trunk) and fly once a week, usually the SC in the parking lot at work at lunch.... all this so Ill be ready when mrmugen finishes his edge 540 he'll let me fly it... ... seagull extra - favorite to fly when I want to sweat, turnigy 35-36, 40a esc. - a 20c 2100mah mystery lipo really woke this up.. a nice Chinese j-3 (came with crappy hardware but balsa and covering look great, at least before I wrecked it once, there a handful on the ground, and in the air... os .52 FS) ...and a SC of course...park 450, e-flite 20a esc, and all the mods. - flys so nice, can take a nap while shes up...

Very nice! I've read up on the extra and it seems like a nice plane. I might get it after I mess around with the t-28 for a while.
How do you like the nitro? Which do you like better, electric or nitro?

not exactly the one but could be - got my off e-bay, dont see them there anymore. Crashed it again by the way, note to self, dont use up elevator to get cub in air, tip stall result. 2 - 15min flights, need to reduce control thows and increase expo.

just added a e-flite taylorcraft 450, going to part out the cub and probably sell the foam with a brushless mount. Thanks CUB, balsa is the only way for me now.

just added a e-flite taylorcraft 450, going to part out the cub and probably sell the foam with a brushless mount. Thanks CUB, balsa is the only way for me now. I like to fly in the wind. Partly because it's always windy near Chicago and I like to fly. But the ground turbulance is amazing and my sc gets thrown around a lot. Now with ailerons I can more easily control my sc in the wind. My ? is balsa 1. better in the wind? 2. heavier so bigger motors and batteries ... thus more expensive Mike
