After two months finally got the sc to rog from grass. Here's how: 3"wheels, lg bent forward and seemingly very important - I added hollow copper tubing to increase the diameter of the stock axle so hardly any slack. LHS carries this tubing. 5 grass to's in a row. Pulled to the left but added a little rudder trim to correct. Wish my other planes were as easy to fly.

Is this the LiPo cub you spent 3 months trying to do a ROG takeoff in grass with or was it the original one?
I find one of the best things to do to aid in takeoff and landing problems is to take off the landing struts. Trimming them works well too I guess but taking them off completely elmininates them as a potential problem, and it makes removing the landing gear to bend them straight again way easier.
It also helps to bend the tail wheel so that the plane will taxi in a dead straight line on a flat surface with the rudder centered.
