I believe the Xport just sends a burst of control to whatever is attached... So if you click the button on your remote it will drop the bomb or shoot a laser and then be done until you click again. The cub really doesnt need it but It would be a cool addition!

I was thinking the same for a while. Maybe not the xport but the ACT button might be used for that. Cause it stays in the position until you take it back. Flaps ON and Flaps OFF. Nothing in between, but still, if someone can manage to do this it'll be awesome!
I'm not good at electronics, receivers etc. So this is just a thought. Is it possible or just a dream?

wouldnt the xport be better for it, you would have to hold it on to keep the flaps down. you would have to have a way for them to spring back up
push it on, flaps down, let go, flaps up, But thats just this newbs thoughts.

When you think about what flaps are for (Landing and taking-off), you can realize that the Xport button would not work for flaps because when you hold the Xport button the throttle is completely cut off. So if you want to use flaps to take off and you hold the Xport button, you have no throttle and if you want to use flaps to land, you need to control throttle as well.

Either way, how could you use the stock electronics and add more servos? If you want flaps you most likely have to get rid of the stock electronics except for the motor.

yeh but how does the xport led kit work then? press the button and the lights will stay on and i think i said this in another thread act can bearly draw enough power to even light a single led dimly. so act flap are no, ill have to look into this and do some more reading this is a fun topic keep posting ideas and if theres a smart guy out there that knows a deal with this stuff please input greatly appreatiated
edit** id say the only way this might work is if someone modded an xport module like the led kit press the button itl stay on press it again and theyre off
