Those are them. This is assuming Suppo is not pulling your leg. Let me look something else up maybe more definitive-yeah, kinda like I thought a bit of an exaggeration. You cannot necessarily trust the stated specs of cheap Chinese motors. They fabricate a bit. In fact, until proven otherwise I recommend discounting ALL claims on EVERYTHING 20%. I mean EVERYTHING cheap Chinese, motors, ESC, servos, etc. Go to www.lightflightrc.com/Follow the link on top to [motors] Scroll down to your motor > click on it. Click on the link to [For specs and data .....] Then click on your motor again for a [pdf file] from someone reliable (Dr, Kiwi from RCGroups) 9x5 will work but over amp it if used at full throttle all the time (more than 30 seconds>a minute. You will be pulling over 10A on an 8A motor. GWS 8x4 (same style) looks to be safer-7.3A . It's a small motor. Don't expect a lot out of it. This is LESS powerful than the brushed motor on 3S (~13A), it just weighs a lot less so you'll be hauling around less weight. That can make a big difference. BUT----it's so light you are going to have to add a bit of weight up front to get the CG right. It's a bit more complicated than 'just buy a brushless motor'. If you want a bit more power and don't want to add a lot of weight look at a 2217-08 maybe. This would be a good choice with cheap fast shipping from a reliable guy that PUBLISHES ACCURATE DATA ABOUT HIS PRODUCTS. www.headsuprc.com/servlet/the-1425/2830-dsh-11-Outrunner-Brushless-Electric/DetailUnfortunately this is seldom the case with RC. Avoid the TowerPro motors. Their only redeeming feature is cheap. They do work, I've used and use them but they have issues.

The fist motor will be adequate, not a power jump at all if that's what you were after. Maybe a power drop...... As I said above: [It's a small motor. Don't expect a lot out of it. This is LESS powerful than the brushed motor on 3S (~13A),]
The 2nd motor would be much better.
WOW! look, it's 98% efficient! You probably don't know but that is complete horsesh!t. You need to spend about $100 to maybe get a motor over 90% efficient. So, care to speculate on the other specs? De-rate at LEAST 20%. Pure Chinese BS. Cheap motors (brushed OR brushless) are in the high 50% and 60's. Better motors go into the 70%. Takes a GOOD motor to break 80% efficiency.
Even so you are going from 7A up to 30A and have a much better chance of getting a reasonable CG without lead.
Research first, buy 2nd. AND, if you value your $$ I STRONGLY recommend you don't buy RC from eBAY. The place is full of crap, charlatans, and stupid high shipping. Yes, there are some good deals but YOU have to know if they are good deals. If you gotta ask, you don't know, don't go there. There are fine mail order dealers in RC. I pointed you at 2 of them (added missing link to post above). You can get information AND service AND reasonable shipping.
98%.......Whoop!

Thanks for your help I think I might go with the 2217-08 you mentioned above for more power since I am upgrading everything else I dont want to skimp on power.

The 450 is another Suppo (Jeff/owner frequently rebrands items). Fine choice. Plus all the prop data is there and he's actually measured it not speculated about it.

I ordered the 450 today as well as a 5pk of 1060 GWS propellers. I think i might mount it using an eflight firewall stick mount and a gws stick mount. Or is it better to just to use the original motor mount and shim? I also saw an aluminum mount on ebay for eflight motors maybe it will work.
