I have been involved with this hobby for over thirty years. My main interests lie in giant scale sailplanes. With the advent of the "parkflyer/streetflyer" I purchased a GWS E-Starter so I could get my daily stick fix right out of my driveway. I started flying ESs(I've worn out three airframes over the years!)back in 06'. Since then, I have accrued over 400hrs. on those little cheap "beercooler" foam planes! Well, I figured it was time for a change. I have always liked the looks of the PA18. Never had a model of it befor. I purchased all the bare airframe parts from Horizon. And got to kit bashin! My Supercub has a geared Himaxx 175W brushless inrunner in it, a 25amp esc and 1350 mah 3s2p lipos. the plane performes really well with a APC style 11x5.5 prop. It has oversize tundra tires mounted on beefed up spring mains. It is equipped with a sullivan tailwheel. I have also installed position and anti-collision light on it. With the first flight, I fell in love! Believe it or not, she thermalls pretty good too! Here's a couple of pics. Attachments:

LOVE the duct tape windows! Awesome job, man. Welcome to the SCC. P.S. Kudos on the Vitamin Water; I'm an addict.
