Well then, although a crash like that is pretty devastating it is more 'normal' for a first/first than worst ever. Starting in this sport without help can be kinda discouraging. Get a mentor if you can grub someone up. It helps immensely.
If you can't at LEAST get a flight SIM and start practicing. If you can't fly electrons without crashing you have NO HOPE for real. Even then the transition can be pretty, uh, bumpy.

Nah, It's not the worst, just the first. You'll be amazed how bad its possible to crash.
First things first...
GET RID OF THE ACT.
After that things get much easier.

Sounds rough, but there's ALWAYS someone that's done worse than you. Read around, and check out youtube. There's lots of super cub carnage out there if you look for it!
Flying in the wind is very dangerous for inexperienced flyers, particularly in a high powered plane like the LP. I won't fly unless the leaves at the tops of trees are quite still. If you're lucky, the nose of your plane has taken all of the damage.
Firewall 2 bucks motor and gearbox - 15 bucks cowl $4, propeller $4 learning experience - priceless!
You probably got off lucky. My third flight I burnt out my ESC and I've since been grounded for about 8 weeks!

yea ACT made it stall. so ill try it again with out ACt and slower winds. it'll have to be next week tho cause the weather is crappy all weekend. I was just wondering if anyone's motor mount is slighty bent to the right when looking at it from the top. its not bent from the crash but the right sides motor mount's legs are short then the right so the prop shaft comes out on a slight slop ill see if i can get some pics up tomorrow. -Alex P.S thanks for the encouragement it really helps....you guys rock.

Yes, that's normal. It's called right and down thrust. Take the cowl off and you'll see the motor mount is deliberately canted. This compensates for motor torque.
Bent, busted, crashed, trashed, broken and mangled are different and seem somehow to contribute to profound failure to fly.
