bent my prop shaft the other day, needless to say it was un useable,so i thought ,a spoke might work,so i removed it from the wheel, cut it to match the length, use a torch and got it red hot ,dipped it in water like 6 times,it works great ..hardend steel threaded shaft..cool beans..yeah?

Never would have thought of it myself, but if it works, great. What's the outer dimension of a motorcycle spoke? I have several mptors w/ 3 mm shafts.
update: My bad, 4 mm motor shafts, I'm thinking of a couple of Heads Up RC motors.

The Cub shaft is 4mm. Dead CD/DVD rails make good 3mm shafts-hard and true. Some folks have used drill blanks.
How did you get the gear off and on the spoke?
