This plane is my fix for the crashed P-51. I maidened it today and was very pleased with it. I have a saito 100GK in it for power and 6 hs645 servos, berg 7p rx and a 1400mah flight pack. What a bird!

Wel today was my 3rd flight and landing with this edge. I am growing very fond of it. It flies like on rails. I had to make a few CG adjustments but got it nailed now and what a nice flying plane for 179.99. I had to replace tyhe tailwheel bracket, motor mount screws and blind nuts but so far so good.

Wel today had flights 4, 5, 6 & 7 inside it. We had a awesome time at the club field today. I flew this one for 4 tanks, flew the trainer 40 for 1 tank, I maidened the lil extra, flew 2 big packs through the Brio-10, 2 packs on the stryker, and 1 30 minute flight on the CG freedom 20 I converted to elec. What a day! My pal Joe maidened his seagull edge today too! It is identical to mine other than servo's chosen. He took off and landed it 4 times successfully. My pal Ryan got his 27% extra 330 up as well as his duracrash 40. We all had a great sunday at the field. Kevin

Well I decided to upgrade the servo's in this pleasure machine. I went with HS-5625MG's in the ailerons and rudder. I still have 645's inthe elevator halves. I will swap them out for some faster ones in the future. What a great flying plane! I would suggest it to anyone.
OH YEAH! Almost forgot! I also ordered a YS 1.10 for it too! It is 18CC and makes monster HP! I should be able to pull out of harriers and taildraggers without issue. I LOVE THIS PLANE!

Well I crashed mine today......sort of. I ended up deadstick after a 10 sec or so vertical and it stalled. The wind was out of the sw which is from the only house near our field. Well the landing was sweet but too fast....I ended up hitting the houses foundation and pushing my motor through the firewall and sending everything from there backwards. I ordered a new one in less than an hour of crashing....I love this plane!

Hey fella's. Got mine on the table for spring cleaning and look over. Replaced the lg with stock ones and used Hangar 9 pro lite 3.25" wheels. Leaving the wheel pants off for now. Went through 2 sets of them and saying to heck with them until I get her trimmed and balanced perfectly with new batttery. Went from a 5 cell sub c pack to a 2 cell A123 2300 pack and dropped 200 grams. I mounted the battery right under the fuel tank in the area the lg bolts come up through. Made more clearance for the tank expansion, about to replace my linkages on the ailerons with better ones. Used the stock BS and now am upgrading to better stuff. Might even put the new wing set together and use robart hinges instead of the paper hinges provided. Then seal the gaps with white monocote. It seems like there is a weak spot in the ribbing about 3 ribs from the fuse. Wouldn't mind rebuilding these wing halves and using my cf outter tube in them. Of course chaging the color sheme up a little too. Been working for about 2 hours on the radio set up. This 12fg is nuts! Unreal the options I have now....not sure I need them all but it is fun to play with. Took the YS off the went through it. The cool power is being very friendly to this engine. Vavles were clean as new and tappet was only out .001"...adjusted it as well. It is back on and ready. Changed the zip tie out for a velrco strap holding the tank in and added more foam for less bubbly fuel. Checked prop for balance and it was dead on after maybe 50 flight on it. Hoping it pulls out with a bit more authority with a few more ozs missing. I did add about 1 oz with the heavier wheels though. All in all I saved about 172 grams over the previous set up.
More as it developes, Kevin

Well I finished up the plane but still have to set mixes once I remaiden it with the new CG set at 90mm instead of the 100mm the manual states. Ready for spring!
Kevin
NEXT!!! Sukhoi is next. Tearing it apart right now. Had a rough landing last summer that was more than rough on the plane.
