I am somewhat embarrassed that I did not include any pics of mu Cub. I knew I forgot something. Actually my blue cub was lost due to the wings collapsing and basically just floated away. I am now building another white one that I will be doing ailerons on also. That is the plane that gave me the "bug" so it means alot to me.

Thanks... The stand I purchased from www.rccradles.com It's collapsable for transport and fully adjusts to your aircrafts length and width. A little pricey, but to me it's worth it.

That tube stand would be real easy to make for about $10 worth of pvc pipe fittings, pipe, and pipe insulation. Might have to make one..

Those planes are beautiful, almost too pretty to take out of the house. You must be an awesome pilot. If they were my planes, I'd probably ding 'em up really good by just moving them from the house to the car and back again.

Hey nice stand man! I made a few that are similar but different. I found the hardware staore had unions and T's and elbows for 9 cents a piece so I bought them all....found them to be mismarked (but they sold them all to me for 9 cents anyway) and built many different stands. I like the adjustable idea though...might have to incorporate it into my next stand build.
I really like that corsair best! Which one is it? Looks like a H9 40 but I'll wait for your response. Kevin

I try not to ding them too much, but battle scars build character anyways. Thanks for the response

Kevin Hey Kevin, I "thought" about making a stand.....then I remembered that I suck at that, so there went that idea. Anyways, the adjustability is what sets it off. Like I said before, I realize that it's pricey, but for me it worked out pretty good. Also, the Corsair is the Hangar 9 .60 size. I don't know that they make any warbirds that are .40 size other than the P-51 PTS. (which I have) Anyways the Corsair is powered by the mighty Saito 100. It flies very well with that motor. I have been flying it with the 3-blade for a more "scale" look, but I just switched to a 2-blader for a little more top end!!!!!!!!

Hi Ace Beautiful looking planes. Do you have any vid of them in flight? I'm hoping to join a club soon and i might start getting into the Hangar9 planes. I must admit they are not cheap but they do look good. There are plenty on the seconhand market, so i may go that route. Thanks for sharing those great pics.

Scc, Where abouts will you be joining your club? Ive found some of them here in the UK to be somewhat unwelcoming to a SC pilot?? Maybe its too low end and i will need to make a progression before they accept me!

Thanks SCC, I agree they are awesome planes. I assure you they are an absolute joy to fly. I will be taking some video this weekend, so I will post it as soon as I upload it. Also, you can't go wrong with the H9 birds. Thet ARE indeed more expensive than most others. I personally wouldn't change them. Another thing that added to the cost is that I decided to go with the Saito for power. I am currently looking into better retracts for them. Thanks again for your comments and I will keep you informed as soon as the video becomes available.
