So the control horn for my elevators broke off at the base a few weeks ago. Tried plastic glue, hot glue, and tape. Nothing worked, although with enough tape it kept it in place well enough to use for a while. Tonight I had enough. Although they only cost $1.29, none of the shops sell them by themselves around here. So I decided to make my stronger, better. I used a heated paper clip to re-weld the plastic together, then i fused a part of the paper clip to either side of the horn, and finished the job with a dose of Epoxy 12. Let it try and break this time.

It may not be pretty but I'd doubt it will ever break again.
