So for anyone who wants to see, this is the wiring setup of the LED system myself and a friend created from scratch. -- This is a photo before we revised the system, where we added a blinking red LED on the bottom of the fuselage behind the rear most "hole", which allows the white tail light to blink, and makes it easier to tell what direction the plane is facing at night.

dammn that is sweet. How'd you wire the LEDs on the wingtips? How do they plug into the plugs on the fuselage?
P.S. That's a lot of packing tape on your Cub. Must be heavy. lol. Does it run on stock power? How does it handle?
Also: Is that servo arm screw unscrewed or is that a longer screw??

The LEDs on the wings poke through the foam and are secured by a little hot glue. The wiring runs under the wing to the center. The wires are held down with white (and black where the stripes are) electrical tape. On the original version the circuit board was taped to the bottom of the wing and the wires could disconnect. This was an issue when trying to take he wing off...since the wing was still attached by wires. So when we reworked it, we made a quick connect for the circuit board so the wires on the wing could be disconnected quickly from the body. I made mine look pretty by mounting the board to the side of the fuselage with some computer motherboard mounts. I'll snap some pics of the wing to show what it looks like. As for the tape, yes it is wrapped in tape, which adds weight and makes it somewhat slower than it is out of the box, and yes it is stock powered still, but the trade off is well worth it to me. Despite all of the crashes the wing had never broken and the fuselage only cracked ones forward of the tail, but not a full break. Since my plane makes plenty of rough landings and more than a few crashes, I'm willing to have it be a bits lower. It still handles fine though. As for that screw in the servo...I misplaced the tiny servo screw the other day and was just using that one (Which is for the motor mount) to hold it together until I found the screw.

Fancy stuff. I crashed a lot too and added some carbon fiber rods and tape to the wing and back of the fuselage. My next upgrade is LiPo power and a new prop to go with it.
