Ok, here's the problem I'm having: I'm painting my SC (see my other thread) and I'm almost finished; I only have the wing to go but I'd like to put tape on the leading edges and wingtips. I have no idea whether to put the tape on first then paint the wing with tape and all, or to paint the wing then put tape on top of the paint, risking the paint coming off and so on. My other alternative is EconoKote but I'd rather not because that means another 30 mile trip to the hobby store and another $8.99 spent and having to iron-on. What should I do? Anyone ever had to deal with this?? Suggestions? Thanks!

I just painted over my tape yesterday. Works fine, but probably would have looked better if I had painted first. So long as you're not putting it on and taking it off I can't see where it would take paint off with it.

I figure the tape will hold better against a bare fuselage. If the fuse is painted the tape can only stick to the paint. and the paint doesn't always stay put.
