I am getting ready to put floats on my SC and was wondering what I need to protect as far as making sure certain parts don't get wet. And what do I use to keep these parts dry?
Also, I bought the GWS floats and was wondering what to use to seal between the foam and the plastic.
One more thing, what should I do with the antenna on the plane when I am on the water?

My friend just got the HobbyZone floats for his plane. Antenna needs to be kept out of the water or it will loose signal. You can just tape the end of it to the tail and that will work fine.
I'm not sure about waterproofing, but I don't plan to get the floats until I figure out how to keep the ESC dry.

You can probably use a small dab of dielectic grease on the contact joints to seal from water.

Super cub LP. You will at some point flip your plane, wind can do it while taxiing. Try and taxi into wind or downwind, if you have ailerons try and keep down aileron on upwind side. But if plane flips, remember of course you can't walk out to retrieve it, a boat or some plan. The plane floats upside down high on the wing, nothing gets wet except the front of motor. Make sure power is off right away, retrieve plane, dry motor and will be fine. Good luck. There is nothing better then flying on the water. By the way the floats are great and make it more stable. Also manual recommends a bigger pitch prop with the floats, I went back to standard prop, motor seemed to run hotter with bigger prop which makes sense, but I found plane flys just fine. Maybe a little longer takeoff run with no wind, but very satisfactory performances.
