Well it has been a love-hate relationship between this bird and I. I finally maidened the last one I was willing to build. I have never had luck with this plane but finally got her down. I built one with a eflite six 2000kv BL motor and 30A esc, hs 81 servos a 3s lipo and a gws rx. I had a blast with it tonight. It responded very well. It handled like it has never before and the power of that motor is impressive! I flew it for about 12 minutes and decided to bring her home unscabed. I filled the nose of this plane with spray foam to sturdy up the nose a bit and it did it's job. Kevin

I like the PZ Stang. It lends intself to a lot of modifications to perform really well. the only down fall is that they are so fragile. One crash and you wiped a wing or fuse or both. I wish they did one made out of the same foam as the Super Cub. E Flite did with the P-38 and P-47 and they are very rugged but heavy. The big plus with PZ's construction is very light weight. For combat, aerobatics or pylon racing that is a big advantage. I have flown combat with the Mustang for a while now and no one can get me so I must be doing something right. The last Pylon race I did I clipped the wing on a pole and it went in. A rudder is needed. the lack of rudder limits aerobatics as well but with my brushless motor I have unlimited verticle and insane top speed. the only other down fall is the battery door on the bottom. I see you taped yours, a good idea!

Actually....thats velcro on the battery door. It comes off easier than tape and is reusable. I agree on the rudder for sure. It does limit your ability to maneuver somewhat.
