haresh74 I've tried acryllic brushed on, Rustoleum sprayed on and Plasti Dip (kind of rubbery, for a non slip grip on tool handles) sprayed on. The acryllic and Rustoleum started flaking off in a week or 2, not good having flakes of yellow all over my car. The Plasti Dip bonded well to the foam but peels off in sheets when the foam got dinged and the propellant used for the spray easily damaged the foam. Hold the can about 20 inches from the foam and spray, the carrier evaporates quickly. The paint I like now is Krylon Fusion for Plastic, available at Wall Mart in spray cans. Hold about 12 inches from the foam, spray and you're good to go. Hope this helps. Happy and Safe flying

Super Cubs not afraid of a littleextra weight, just keep it as balanced as you can and it'll be good to go. Red & white checker pattern on the bottom of the wing? Should look awesome! Glad you got the plane back and repaired. Epoxy and packing tape work wonders on the SC (also Gorilla Glue). Happy & safe flying

Rust-Oleum for me Thats a beautiful plane. Glad to see Rust Oleum works, i've used it on Lexan bodies before as well as hundreds of 1:1 automotive and household purposes so I have plenty of it around and wouldn't mind buying more!

Thanks, that was my first paintjob and the most elaborate one yet. LOL! I learned I like to fly fun planes that look alright; not waste three nights prepping a plane to look good and crash it three months later. hehe

After some, actually many trips to the many different stores that carry paint in my area, I wound up buying fusion. It worked pretty good for the SC but is not friendly with other planes such as my daughters Champ. Today, I found a spry paint called, Design Master. It is awesome! Painted my daughters Champ and it went on like it was made for foam. Just a few passes w the spray gave a nice even paint job without streaks or runs. I did sand w 220 grit paper first and clean w alcohol before painting. I am now pointing the Super Cub and it is going on perfectly. I tried to rub off the paint but it is on there pretty good. I wont know how it fairs when flying but it is meant or indoor and outdoor. www.dmcolor.com/products/

I'm not sure where you are in the world, but if in the UK, Home bargain are selling 'greens acrylic paint' in 300ml tubes for 99p each. Lots of colours, and slightly watered down sticks to foam very well. It will chip, but only in the event of an 'arrival'. Normal day to day wear it just shrugs off!
