Yep. GWS numbering on everything is confusing. Their instructions suck too. The GWS RD (slow fly) props are very flimsy and floppy. General not worth buying except for a heavily geared slow plane. The 10x8 RD/SF is barely serviceable for a stock Cub and too floppy for a lipo cub.
GWS HD/DD and APC make pretty good props. The HC clones are cheap but pretty lousy finishes and often horribly out of balance. Don't buy them unless you are able and willing to put the work into them.

Thank you so much. Trying to put my order together for HC and trying to make sure I don't miss anything. Supercub will be here tuesday and I am planning on switching to lipos and adding ailerons. Hopefully all goes well.. Thanks again

I ran across a thread somewhere i can't remember that led me to the holy grail of props for the SC. I have the newer SC with the stock 480 brushed motor and found that the best prop so far is the GWS HD-1080, the thread went on to say that with an amp draw meter and a force/thrust gauge proved the GWS had 18% more thrust for the same amps as the stock HZ prop. However the hub is 3mm and the SC is 4mm so some drilling is required for a good fit, the lock nut fits perfectly. I just put it on tonight and will fly it this weekend, I will report the results later.
