A few weeks ago, I was asked by a real estate photographer to take some aerial photos of a luxury home in north Scottsdale that's for sale due to foreclosure. Here's a link to the listing with my photos included: www.azcentralhomesearch.com/Listing.aspx?listingid=2325563&index=1If you're interested in buying it, be sure to tell them that I referred you. I'd love to get a piece of that commission. - Matt

You sure get alot of house for your money there in AZ. Mine is about $1.8 here in Maryland, but doesn't have half the amenities of that one. Nice shots. What camera you use & what mount position? You must have good control to set up for those shots.

That is true. You can get a lot more house for your money in Arizona, than in other parts of the U.S. Also keep in mind that Phoenix has had the largest drop in home values in all of the U.S. over the last year. The average drop is around 35% since this time last year. So the house that's valued at $2M now, would have been $3M just 12 months ago. I'm using a Canon SD40 for the photos. You can see my set-up here: supercubclub.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=cameras&action=display&thread=1186I shoot in continuous photo mode, so a typical flight results in about 1000 pictures to go through. It took 2 flights to get enough pictures that I was happy with. The first flight, most of the photos turned out blurry due to vibration from the motor/shaft/prop. So in the second flight, I cut the throttle as I approached the house and glided over it each time. - Matt

Thx for the info. Good idea with the plexi shield. I've been getting mediocre pics & vid with the FCO2 for a year, but want higher res & quality now. Read some posts about modding cams for TX controlling, but forgot where I read it. They also sell DIY kits, but again forgot where I saw it.
