To be honest the jumper is there for LVC so it should'nt cause your problem, but hey you never no.
It's a strange problem. Have you tried reversing your throttle channel on the TX and then try your lipo.?

Well after through testing it seems that I did have the pos and neg switched. Which in turn has probably blown the ESC. I tested the leads coming off the ESC that goes to the receiver and they are dead. The motor will still go on WOT but will not power the receiver. Now I am an electrician by trade and you must know how stupid I feel right now. <SIGH> but a lesson learned is a lesson remembered. I will be going into the ESC tonight in an intensive operation to see if I can get it to work again. Wish me luck.

The prognosis is a burned ESC due to a trained idiot hooking it up. Cut the heat shrink off it and was greeted by two smiling IC chips with big craters in both of them. But not to fret, they are just 8 bucks. No sweat I think as I go to hobby City web site. Place my order for 2 of the little gems and threw in a cheap battery monitor. Well guess what, they are on BACK-FREAKIN-ORDER! But I ordered them anyways. And this time I went with EMS Express mail. No more waiting weeks for this ole boy, no siree. : )
