I just got one of these. I like it. Worth the price and a lot of fun to fly. I bought 2 extra lipo batteries for 10 dollars each. It does not like wind but it can be flown outside with ease on a calm day. It will do loops and is very easy to fly. easier than the SC as long as there is no wind. It flys the same being a 3 channel but it flys slow. It is peppy as wide open throttle but will absolutely float it you keep the throttle low. Mine weighs 17.5 grams with battery! Its almost as light as a paper airplane. It will take off from the hood of my car, the ground or can be hand launched. it is indestuctable so far. I dove it staright into the gorund (grass) from about 20 feet with zero damage. I also hit a post wide open with zero damage it is so light it bounces off everything. I would recommend this one to cure bordom. www.parkzone.com/Search/Default.aspx?SearchTerm=cessna&CatId=ARE

Well I just couldn't resist. I bought one. I got it from horizon and probably paid too much but I don't care. When I need to impulsively buy there is no time to shop around. Hehe. I will report all crashes or lack there of asap. Thanks for the links! Kevin

I got a second one. Another green and silver one. The first one made it debut at work and I flew it through the shop early in the morning. An hour later I found that some low life destroyed it. You can't have anything around there. Between the thieft and lack of respect for other peoples property. Anyway it was in my toolbox and someone went through it and crushed the plane under a bunch of tools then cut it in half when they shut the drawer. Of course no one will fess up to doing it so I had to buy another one. The first one has been epoxied together but the wing is to far gone to put back as is so it will be a low wing plane with ailerons and elevator. I am also taking out the downthrust built into the motor to get some aerobatic performance of of it. I will post some pictures when I get it put together.

How does yours fly?
I am about to get the first one back in the air. It has ailerons and a midwing design. I had to spend 13 dollars on a new motor and gearbox.
Mental note. when trying to find some kind of oil to lubricate a very small gearbox, don't use the unlabled bottle that looks like oil that came with your T-rex. It might be locktite.

Here are mine. One is stock and the other one was made into a mid wing. The motor was moved forward and pointed straight ahead. The wing was moved back to relocate the CG. A micro servo arm was used to make a bellcrank for the ailerons. I also clipped the wings. I locked the rudder in place with clear tape. It will not fly as slow but it loops with ease, rolls and is faster. Pictures of the pair Picture of the aileron. I just cut it out of the wing and used clear tape as a hinge. Picture of the wing. I just glued it to the lower fuse half and cleranced the upper half. Picture of the prop with no downthrust. It is pointed straight ahead even though the picture makes it look pointed to the right.

Nice job 60buick! I would like to see the under side of the wing if you would be so kind. Did you use the rudder servo to make the ailerons work and lock the rudder? I just got mine today and have yet to maiden it. I made a offer on a few more of them to modify and mess with. Kevin

Here is how I rigged the ailerons. Very light but effective.
