Is this; Hyperion EOS0606i Charger AC/DC W/Balancer, a good charger? Copy and paste the underlined into Google and item will pop up.
I really would like an AC/DC LIPO Charger without having to fool with power sources and extras that I will lose.
Do the Balancing chargers work as well as the products that are dedicated to balancing only?
For the informed, experienced ones is this charger a new user friendly and safe item to use?
Thanks for the comments.

For the money it is I would get yourself a TP610C. The hyperion is a decent charger but lacks the new technology. It does not charge A123's. IMO that is a buster. The future of battery tech is A123..... The 610c is capable of all the hyperion features plus A123. Either way they are both good. Personally I like to keep up with the times when I can. Li-ion feature is almost useless unless you fly fromeco packs for the big planes.

OK this is what I did, I purchased the Apprentice today and got a 12V, 10A power source to power the plane's provided charger. So with this power source in hand, although not my first idea/plan I guess getting a DC charger will be the direction I am heading. I will do some more reading here and find the correct DC charger/balancer that will fit my needs.
It has became apparent to me DC chargers, such as the one you mention, are much more popular and although not exactly but come a dime a dozen compared to the AC/DC models. Although the one you mention is not a cheap model either I see.
The A123 benefits are longevity correct? Are they less volatile than the LIPO's? This will be my first dabble into LIPO batteries and I do not care to burn my new house down. Any advice other than use the correct charger and have the ESC programmed properly to not kill the LIPO by drawing too low? Is there a need to let battery stand idle for some period before recharging after exhausting it during a flight?
Thanks Wayne
