Ailerons and flaps using cables

Here's how I installed the linkage and servos for my ailerons and flaps.
I used HS-81 servos with Du-Bro 20" flex cable for the ailerons and 36" Gold-N-Cable for the flaps. This is the second time I've done ailerons and flaps this way and it seems to work fine

I used wire to attach cables to servos


Cutting in the servos this way weakens the wing, so I Gorilla glue them in to add strength

I’m in the process of collecting ideas for how to add ailerons to my Cub. I’ll definitely keep this method in mind!!!

It was extremely windy. I got in one test flight, then called it good. The ailerons are VERY responsive I must say!!!

Here's my take in pics. I opt for flaperon programming over seperate flaps to save time, money, channels, etc although admit flaps look cool.
