Saw that small ski to replace the tail wheel. I made a set of skis last year but haven't had any snow since so never got to test them. One question in the back of my mind is whether the tail wheel work or sink in any snow. Any idea?

I use skis as well throughout the winter but I do not use a tail ski and it takes off and lands just fine without one. Sometimes in real fluffy snow it can be a challenge to take off but with lots of elevator and full throttle it will usually take off.
