Just flew my new SC - all ok. After a heavy landing i thought i would check everything out. I removed the prop & engine cowel & noticed the engine mount was skewed a little. Obviously is it made this way but why?

Normal. Called right and down thrust. It helps overcome the tendency of the motor to pull the plane left and up on throttle acceleration. You'll find it built in to a lot of planes and discussed ad naseum if you ever get a slow stick and dabble in that forum.

I noticed this on mine and made some little washers/shims to straighten it out. Should I return it to factory specs? I did notice the other day it was pulling a bit to the left.
