I looked at the vid expecting to find a landing like a cow flop. Good landing actually. Only thing I can speculate is there was some previous underlying damage or you got caught on a ground anomaly. I think that would have done something more dramatic though.
Got a buddy that lands like a brick falling out of a truck. He keeps reinforcing his landing gear and insisting it's lousy landing gear.

it almost looks as if it wasnt braced properly and just fell back on itself upon recieving more force on landing than ROG. was the gear part of the major renovations you did? if so you may have left something out. a smooth landing like that wouldnt have ripped the gear right out. i hope those werent a nice pairi of retracts...i couldnt tell as ray ray lost you for a good 15 seconds after takeoff

Actually it was just the retract servo that went south. I have since upgraded to a metal gear high-power servo and it's fixed. The gear didn't even want to go up after take off, so I figured we were already up.... might as well fly for a while!!! It was a pretty slick landing. Just some belly scratches and thats it. I love that plane.
