Could have been worse

Finally got out today, even brought my dad along which I've been trying to do for some time. Brought both planes but started out with the USCG Cub with the dihedral. Had the on-board cam going and was flying great, low flybys of the two of us, some seagull strafing and loops. Then I decided to fly inverted, lost altitude and darted into the hard wet sand. Finally broke my first SC prop, cowl shot to pieces and a piece broke of the horiz stabilizer (glued back nicely). Oh yeah, a wing strut broke.

After we picked up the pieces I was saying that at least I have an exciting video - WRONG! Not a thing on the camera. That's what is really disappointing.

Too bad you lost the footage I've always wondered what the view would be like everytime I've darted the cub while attempting a bit of inverted flight.
