Is the plexi custom or is this another brand super cub? If custom, you have a link to the process of doing this modification? thanks

I was wondering how the plexiglass would support the wing and fuselage...glue. always the obvious hugh. If the super cubs came from the factory looking like your modded planes, they wouldnt be able to keep them on the shelves I dont think.

I glued the plexi to the fuse with Liquid Nails, I'm sure just about anything would work. Sillycone would work also. I sanded the edge to be glued and about 1/8" up on the sides so the adhesive would bond to the plexi better. After running the wing rod through the window, I looped 10 gage wire around the rod and ran it straght down and looped it back up against the battery box. This connected the plexi to the battery box, making everything very solid. After I did that I realized the adhesive wasn't such a big issue. You can see the wire in this pic. i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn318/EllisLamp/480%20Mod/480mod009.jpgIf you look closely you can see the loop under the fuse, where the wire bends back into the battery box. i307.photobucket.com/albums/nn318/EllisLamp/Ellis%20480/Ellis480008.jpg

Ellis, it seems that I also enjoy painting and working on my Cub as much as you, but you are the master! Very well done!
