;D ;D ;D so i got my first cub last week, which is also my first plane. After much looking around on the net and a few days reading this site, and some others i decided that the cub was for me. so today i went for my first proper flight. Managed to pull two loops (without stalling!) also managed a perfect landing (after a couple of practices and a couple of props). so yaaaaaaay just needed to share my excitement. thankyou all for helping me make such a great choice to get such a good plane! i also have to say that i work at a shop called Battery World. So any questions about charging, the best way to look after different types of batteries, or anything like that, throw them at me! i'll certainly be experimenting making up new battery packs for the cub

Howdy! I'm a super-noob looking to get into RC electrics. I've got a basement full of rocketry stuff I have completely lost interest in. Going to sell a bunch of it off and invest in RC for many reasons.
My first question regards simulation programs. Should I invest in say FMS or purchase a Super Cub and learn from the seat of my pants. I've never flown a RC anything.

Swimmer Im a mega noob too. but ive had about 6 or 7 successful flights now, and i had never flown anything before! i downloaded FMS and just used it to practise flying towards myself... othat than that, i've gone 'by the seat of my pants' and its been fine so far. the one little thing that helped me the most with flying towards myself was push the stick in the direction of the wing that is lower...
