Nov. 28th 08' a cold day after all night of snowing. Super Cub takes flight in Thornton, CO (north Denver burb). If you look closely you can see a few strings migrating Canadian Honker geese.

Got sick of nose overs....No gear for me and my cub. She looks great in the air without it and does a beautiful belly slide.

huh. interesting. i would think that would shove dirt and in your case, snow, up into the batt box area

No, that really has not been a problem. This week I am removing the plastic battery hatch from the underside and replacing it with a glued in piece 3/32 plywood. I ready the Cub from the top so no need for underside access, and as you pointed out....I don't want dirt or snow up in there on a landing.

I am also getting ready to cut in some airelons, I will follow the Dave Smith tutorial.
