Make sure you can easily get all the replacement parts.
Of course you'll have to leave this forum. Kidding ;D

This is the 'factory' site though I doubt Dynam makes it: www.dynam-rc.com/products/airplane/supercub.htmMy buddy bought one of their Cessna EP182 but his was labeled DMZ-same plane. It may turn up various other places. I've got a Focus EP400 I got 2nd hand I'm in the process of rebuilding. Not yet flown. Same origins, similar build. Buddy got it as an aileron trainer for moving up from the Cub. Bad mistake for him. This is from the eBay description: [Shock Resistant Reinforced Fuselage and Strong Wings] Uh huh. This plane is styrofoam. It flies fast, it flies well, and if you dink it mildly it will break. If you crash it like a PZ Cub it'll need a dust pan to pick up all the little foam parts. The front landing gear is garbage. The wing ailerons needed complete re-working to get level and even be workable. The motor is a TowerPro 2408-21, pretty strong but with a noodle for a shaft. I've had to straighten it 4X and never broken the prop. The fuse has cracked so many times from wing tip hits (not bad crashes) that it is full of Gorilla glue, bamboo skewers, and carbon. It just cracks somewhere else. Finally the wing folded on take off. It had been well tape from the time it was new. Sigh. The list goes on. The Focus looks to have most of the same issues and I'm doing preventative reinforcing. Guess I'll see.... The Radio is 'basic' 4-ch, better than the stock Cub but not by a whole lot. The electronics seem to be Dynam-satisfactory. The [Buy it Now] price is stupid high. $100 is barely a reasonable price for this and ONLY if you are an accomplished flier and OK with a fragile plane. Newbies stay away. That said, it does fly pretty well (the Cessna). Can't comment on the others yet. The ranting could go on. If this doesn't make you pause I can point you at a couple of other threads about the Cessna being discussed out there with more of my modest opinions sprinkled in. Near as I can tell you can't get replacement parts, at least not from the LHS it was purchased. Haven't tried the net. Haven't looked hard. Several web places that have a decent reputation and were selling these planes seem to have stopped. I suspect they got a lot of grief. fly
