plane magnets, I mean. I was flying over a freshly plowed and raked field. As fields go, it was as smooth as a babies behind. Not a stone or rock to be seen. I'm sure you can all see whats coming. I stalled the plane ( my poor modded cub) and it lawndarted from about 15' up. Wouldn't you know it, I couldn't hit any of that nice soft dirt. Buried about 1/4" beneath the dirt was a large flat rock, about a foot square. Judging from the paint mark on the stone, I scored a perfect bullseye. There wasn't another stone to be found within 100 feet of that spot. I looked. The gods are laughing

I haven't been into RC for a lot of years, but recently re-started. I have observed from my own recent experience that the electric motors in the planes have a strange attraction to rocks and metal fence poles. I'm sure it has to do with the magnets in the motors, not our flying ability. I'm also fairly sure that Styrofoam is attracted to trees, again based on personal experience....LOL We fly -We crash -We cry-We fix -We fly -We crash - etc etc
