Hi all,
I have had an interest in R/C vehicles on and off for many years. I used to run nitro & electric 1/10 scale on-road cars. After losing interest in those I sold them and got into mini off-road, running a Mini-T.
This xmas I got a 400 size electric heli, which I find quite challenging. After spending time on a simulator, I decided to get a plane. I wanted one that was at least 4 channel, easily repaired, and could be fitted with floats.
I couldn't make a decision on a plane until I saw this club. I'm waiting for my LHS to open so I can get my hot little hands on my own Supercub.
It wont be long till I've modded it with new electronics, ailerons, maybe flaps and definitely floats.
I look forward to sharing this project with the group. There looks to be a wealth of info here that I can't wait to apply to my Cub!
