I had it all apart to repair the tail, firewall and battery box anyway.
Its 2 coats Future wax, sanded with 800 grit papr, one good coat of Tamiya metallic silver acrylic, (Silver leaf maybe) and Hangar 9 deep red Ultratrim. The leadin edge has clear tape over the trim to protect the LE. The cowl and (lost) spinner are metallic silver enamel with Tamiya Italian Red acrylic over top.
It really helps the visibility in sunlight, and seems to help in pre sunrise conditions as well.
These pics are post crash, a low altitude tip stall put me in a cartwheel and snapped the tail, just a few minutes before these were taken, so the spinner is lost, and the tail is crooked.
