Hello Folks,
I started building balsa and silk free flight gliders when I was 10yo. You gotta love the heart of a 10yo who will spend months building a glider and then tossing it freely into the wind (what was I thinking???). After losing 5 or 6 or them I found new hobbies.
Years later I was given a VERY LARGE RC glider with a 9 foot wingspan. I didn't think it prudent to learn to fly RC on this monster, so I bought a HZ Super Cub a few weeks ago, and have been having a blast ever since. What a great airplane - a dozen or so flights and not a single crash. I'm already thinking about putting her on floats, and I just fashioned a pair of skis for it. Now just need some snow.
