Is the SuperCub the VW Beetle of the RC airplane world?
- The VW Beetle was the car that many people learned to drive with. The Cub is how many of us learned to fly.
- The Bug was relatively cheap, parts are readily available and best of all you can usually fix it yourself. Same with the SuperCub
- The Beetle was tame and underpowered but you could soup it up to perform better. Ditto for the Cub
- The VW Bug is probably the most modified vehicle on the planet. The Supercub seems to have its fair share of mods that people have tried.
- The VW Bug may not have been the flashiest or sexiest of cars but it was definitely the most loved. I'm new to the RC airplane world but it sure seems like the Cub is very well loved by all who fly them.
