Pulled a real doofus move today and now I pay the consequences. I managed to get out for a bit this morning. Flew out my 7 cell pack practising simple turns at about 60' up. Discovered that the new connectors and GWS prop let me fly at 1/2 throttle, which is good since it wouldn't before. I was having some trouble with the trim at first and I dumped it in a couple of times. One was my first tree encounter ( a nice power off stall into low branches, no damage) The other tweaked up the LG pretty good and loosened up the battery box. Made some adjustments to the tail and Got it back up and flew out the pack nice and easy. Flew out the first 8 cell pack flawlessly, with a Nice ROG takeoff, and fast smooth landing. ( the 3" wheels make a big difference on grass). Threw in my last pack and ROG'd again. Got it up about 100' and played around doing inside loops and flying inverted. The wind was starting to pick up a bit as the sun got higher. I tried one outside loop, that left me inverted and flying nicely as it rolled itself back over. So I took it back up a bit and tried it again in the other direction. Bad NO NO. Just as I was coming around inverted, a gust came up and took all my airspeed away and it just fell out of the sky, perfectly inverted, at full throttle, right into the ground. I just couldn't get it to pull up that last bit. Time to get out the epoxy

mine looks like that right now, but it was from a car accident lol. shouldn't be a hard fix, just go easy on the epoxy and use some bamboo skewers to help strengthen it up. to much epoxy and she will be real tail heavy.

Further inspection revealed a loose motormount, so I'll be able to match that weight up front easy enough.
I have the tail and battery box curing now, The motormount will have to wait till I decide what to use. I'm thinking flexible but firm.
Does 100% silicone attack SC foam? I have a gun full of that for my fish setup.
I'm shying away from epoxy for the firewall due to rigidity.

i believe thats what hobbyzone uses to attach the servos with from the factory, because that stuff isnt very hard or strong. i epoxied my fire wall on because i kept knocking it lose in tall grass. it was easier to throw a new prop on then wait for adhesive to try.

Its all back together, Used epoxy o the tail, and sillycone for the motor mount. I used the silicone to give the motormount some flexibility. I'd rather glue on a motor mount, than have to glue on the whole nose.
Balance seems to be OK, going out to fly this morning.
