Anybody using Master Airscrew props? I ordered 4 10x7 G/F blades, I also may try the electric only version. Here's the link if anyone's interested. masterairscrew.com/propellers.aspx

Uh Oh. Think I got the gasser prop. A LHS recomended an APC 10 X 7 electric, and it worked great with an e flite 450. Saw the MAS 10 X 7 and figured I would try it, that is one tough cookie: difficult to break, plenty of thrust but also a bit heavier. Am wondering if it's drawing more amps than the 25 amp ESC can handle, no equipment to find out so time will tell... PS Was out flying this AM (33 degrees and it felt like my fingers were going to freeze), what a blast in the wind.

I'm using the Master Airscrew 10x6 Electric and that is maxing out at 12.5A with a Lipo (8.4A with 8-cell and 6.5A with 7-cell). On stock ESC and motor.
If you're using the stock ESC then it should be a concern, if you have a 25A ESC I would expect you're fine. However it also depends on the motor you're running with (RPMs) that will vary the load.
I think the MAS electric is a great prop from a weight / durability point of view.

Yeah, I ordered 5 of the heavy ones, but then exchanged them for the Electric Only version. It works fine, but I'm going to get a few 11x7 APC props to try.

Ellis Just watch out for the clearance with the ground. I put 2 1/2 inch tires on and tried an 11 inch prop, figured there was enough clearance but still knicked the heck out the prop on the larger peices (?) of gravel. Best of luck to you.

Yeah, I thought about that. I have 3" wheels and always land with throttle off, that plus the forgiveness of sand helps. Of course there's always driftwood - then I'm screwed.
