I wanted a plane ever since I was a little kid. Finally managed to get one.
Been flying my SC for 3 weeks, and love every second. I've had good luck for the most part, I've only replaced one cowl, and one prop from all its encounters with the planet. Ive clipped the ends off horizontal stabilizer too after a nasty cartwheel.
Its already been upgraded with better connectors, larger packs, and oversized tires.
I'm hoping to get enough flight time to be able to fly the F4U Corsair competently after Christmas. I made a deal with the GF, she's getting me the F4U at christmas time since she didn't get me anything for my birthday yet.
I was going to get the SC for my birthday, but a local flyer wanting to move up sold me his for 50.00. ;D
So, i'll be hanging around lurking in the shadows. Sucking up info.
