Love it. Almost as much as my t-28.

I'm anxious to know how it flew compared to the SC too. I got mine right before Hanna decided to blow in and mine's itching to fly. Our local forecast if 5-10mph winds tommorrow so I might get to maiden mine. The only thing that really concerns me (so much I've spend hours in FSOne practicing on some of the heavier planes) is the landing speed and lengths. I've gotten spoiled by being able to put my SC down in less than 10ft and I understand that the F4U will require a bit more room and practice

It flys very simmilar to the t-28- very well!
Yes it does requre more room than the cub but it is still fairly easy to land. If you've got the SC landing down, you should adapt to the F4U's landing easily.

Yep I got the PNP. All the stock gear is working great. I've got a AR6000 and a zippy 2200 to finish it off.

it looks bigger than in the horizon hobby catalog. i might have to get one...but i'd just wreck it. hoping by christmas the t-28 will be doable. my cub is so beat up it would make you cry...but with a little putty and paint it still flies

I'll be back to flying my SC for another month while I wait for parts

Man, that's a real bummer. Any idea why it rolled so quickly? I assume you checked the ailerons were adjusted properly. Maybe a loose control rod? Anyway, I feel your pain, I nosed in my EZ-Cub the other day when I lost control and it rolled and dove in. Only I was about 40' up Lost the motor, battery and the front of the fuse.... a real mess. Still don't know why I lost control? Here's to happier flights, M

That does almost look like a severe trim problem.

I'm still not sure what happened there and I've reviewed it several times. The trim appeared to be solid preflight but what I didn't check (wasn't experienced enough) was the airlerons weren't backwards. What I think happened was when it rolled for torque I either overadjusted or had the airlerons reversed. On a good note, I did find out that the bird shares the motor mount of the t-28 so I have that critical part handled. The cowling is the only part that is really busted up beyond repair and I'm looking at alternatives for it now, otherwise it's repaired and ready to crash (i mean fly) again

Stick with rudder only for takeoff correction. The plane may have tip stalled.Zo6driver.

I have also bought one of these. Want to practice on fms a little bit more before i maiden. I do pretty good on my cub, but it has different flight handling than the corsair. I'll keep looking at forums and practicing. Good luck fellow pilots.
